Gulfport Powerball Player Wins $200,000 as Jackpot Climbs to Est. $835M
Player Multiplies $50,000 Prize by Four with $1 Power Play Add-On
FLOWOOD, MISS. – A Mississippi Lottery player in Gulfport is celebrating a $200,000 Powerball win, just as the game’s jackpot climbs to an estimated $835 million for Wednesday, Nov. 4. The Gulfport player matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball in Monday night’s drawing, turning an original $50,000 prize into $200,000 with the addition of the $1 Power Play option. The winning ticket was purchased at Lorraine Chevron in Gulfport.
While one Mississippi player is already enjoying a big payday, Wednesday night’s drawing offers the chance at an even bigger prize. With no jackpot winner Monday night, the estimated jackpot has grown to an estimated $835 million, with an estimated cash value of $357.9 million.
This is the second-largest Powerball jackpot of 2026, trailing only the $1.04 billion jackpot won in Illinois on Aug. 12. It also ranks as the 10th-largest jackpot in Powerball history. Wednesday’s drawing will mark the 36th drawing of the current jackpot cycle.
An $835 million jackpot brings plenty of possibilities, but Powerball offers players opportunities to win along the way, too. Players can add Power Play for a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes or Double Play for another opportunity to win up to $10 million in a separate drawing.
Powerball tickets are $2 per play and are available at authorized Mississippi Lottery retailers statewide. For more information about Mississippi Lottery games, winning numbers and unclaimed prizes, visit the Mississippi Lottery Corporation website or download the Mississippi Lottery Official app.
